Scented wax meant for melting instead of burning is a growing segment of the scented candle market.

To date, most customers prefer traditional candles with wicks that need a flame in order to send fragrance into the room or home. The wick-free, also known as melts, or wickless candles, need an alternate heat source to do their job.

Since no flame is used, which eliminates any hazard of fire from too much fragrance, our melts have a higher percentage of fragrance, allowing them to give off a stronger fragrance and to cover wider areas of your home.

As the heat source, we have a selection of melters, but there are dozens of companies from whom you can get a melt or simmer pot. The heat source can be tealights, electric hot pads, or low wattage light bulbs. Pick the method and design that fits your needs best. We prefer electric because they are easier to use.

Why Wickless?

Even though most candle lovers prefer candles with a wick, I am a money saver so want the highest value for the money spent. Our melts, from personal experience, have more fragrance and last a lot longer than a candle that is burned.

We put a simple timer on our electric melters so they turn on and off at specific times. Our home is 2500 sq ft with 18’ ceilings. Two melts fill our home with fragrance for a long time! We also create custom blends, putting two or more different fragrances together to give us a blend that is unique to our home.
